Tournament description

This sport fishing tournament, jointly organized by the Monegasque (FMPS) and Italian (FIPSAS) Federations, requires the systematic release of catches. This edition took place in a fishing zone spread across the maritime waters of Monaco, Italy, and France and saw some remarkable catches, including the first catch of a Xiphias gladius, the legendary swordfish. This internationally renowned fishing tournament brought together the best anglers with a common goal: to tag as many fish as possible using tags to track their movements and better understand their development. Its second goal is to bring together the Mediterranean and international recreational fishing communities for the purpose of sharing, collaboration, and peace.
