The HOOK N PASS FunTournament – IGFA Modified is a one-day team sailfish release tournament designed for competitive anglers of all levels. Teams of 1 to 6 anglers compete across three divisions to accumulate the highest number of sailfish release points, with 200 points awarded per verified sailfish release. Cash prizes and awards are granted to first and second place teams in each division, along with additional recognitions for Junior Anglers (Boy & Girl, 16 and under) and Lady Anglers. All special-category anglers must declare at registration and use the designated color bands for their releases to qualify. There are no boat size limitations in the Sonar and Non-Sonar divisions. Boats 36 feet and under have a dedicated Non-Sonar division, and Non-Sonar or 36’ and under boats may elect to enter the Sonar division if desired (only one division entry allowed). Optional jackpots include Sailfish Release, Marlin Release, and a First Qualified Sailfish Release Charity Jackpot, where 50% goes to the winning team and 50% to a designated charity. In the event of a tie, the team that reaches the highest score first will be declared the winner. All sailfish releases must be verified by video and comply with IGFA release standards.
